14k Gold, 18K Gold and Platinum rings with Tantalum, Niobium or Gold inlays that are riveted in place. They are unique to the Ringworks Studio. We have been making them for over 35 years. have been making Gold with Tantalum Inlay™ rings for over 35 years. The design is elegant, understateded, and very comfortable to wear. Many of our clients have told us that they are often asked about the design of their rings. Each ring is made specifically for you. You select the profile, color and karat of gold (or platinum) for the band, and the inlay material. The inlay is held in place with 18K yellow gold or platinum rivets—a subtle design detail. If the combination of band color/karat you want isn't listed, please contact us and we' ll do our best to accommodate your desires.
A few facts about Tantalum:
Tantalum is pure rare metal: an element. It is not a trade name or alloy.
It is very dense; similar to 18K gold.
One of its most interesting properties is its natural color—a beautiful blue to lavender gray.
It's quite inert, and in its pure state thought to be non-allergenic and non-toxic to humans.
