A pendant loosely based on the solar eclipse of 2018. The center stone is rose quartz, and is surrounded by a silver bezel. The culet of the stone is concave with a frosted finish and allows for light to pass through the stone and reflect off the concave gold disk behind it: the result gives something like “moon phases” to the stone when viewed from different angles. Steel, silver (Argentium), 18K yellow gold, on a titanium neck wire; ca. 1.25” square, 1” deep.
